Carrie, the founder of Sequel, was on the cusp of turning 30. She had been working in ad agencies for several years where she had a number of great experiences, like meeting her husband, Dan. Carrie, searching for a more creative pursuit, decided to take a break from advertising and assess where she was in her life's journey. She knew that these moments to pause do not come very often. Lucky for her, from the sky, fell inspiration to breathe new life into vintage furnishings. So, Carrie soaked up everything she could about this business, which was brand new to her, but came very natural. And, there was no going back to advertising (except occasionally when Dan needs her help). Yes, this felt right. As Carrie pursued her passion, fortune smiled on her and introduced her to Donna, a friend, mentor and informal business partner. Donna's unbridled style expanded Carrie's realm of design. And so, Sequel was born, and is now growing and being nourished by Carrie, Dan, Donna, and every inspiring detail of life.
